Personhood
Mississippi Voter Drive Underway -
Personhood Mississippi is a voter initiative to amend the Mississippi
Constitution to define personhood as beginning at fertilization or “the
functional equivalent thereof.” Its purpose is to protect all life, regardless
of age, health, function, physical or mental dependency, or method of reproduction.
We the people of Mississippi must collect and certify about 90,000 signatures
from registered voters (equally divided throughout the state of Mississippi).
Doing this will put this initiative on the 2010 ballot so that the voters
can decide this issue for themselves. I Want To Help -- What Do

National Sanctity
of Human Life Sunday - The
National Sanctity
of Human Life Sunday (SOHLS) is held on the Sunday in January that falls
closest to the day on which the Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton decisions
were handed down by the U.S. Supreme Court on January 22, 1973. In 2010,
SOHLS will take place on January 24th.
In 1983, President
Reagan issued a proclamation establishing a National Sanctity of Human Life
Sunday (SOHLS). The pro-life community has continued to set this day aside
each year since it’s inception to pray for an end to abortion.

bring the protection of the Missouri Constitution to the most defenseless
