This Friday, April 10th, we will bring the Spring 2009 40 DChrist on The Crossays for Life to a close and we invite everyone to join us for this very reverent and Holy Day of solemn prayer and thanksgiving.  Come anytime from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, as your schedule permits, based on the time-frame details below.  We will gather at the Calvary of our day, where innocent life is still being sacrificed at the largest abortion provider in our nation, Planned Parenthood, 29th and B Street, Sacramento.  Click here for the flyer Please distribute this flyer, inviting everyone you know.

8:00 am Opening Prayer & Welcome. Bud Reeves, of SOHLNET (Sanctity of Human Life Network) will deliver 400 Crosses, in remembrance of the 4,000 lives lost each day to abortion, leaving 4,000 women wounded for a lifetime.  Therefore, we want every cross to be held by someone!   Pastors, Priests, and other members of the Culture of Life Inter-Faith Council will arrive throughout the day and be given an opportunity to speak.

8:30 am Sidewalk Counseling Workshop will be given throughout the morning.  We will pray and minister to women who are entering for abortion, since abortions will be done that morning, just like every Friday.

9:00 am Well-known and talented musician Jordan Sax will sing "Angels to the Rescue"and other favorites.  See his inspiring video here.

9:30 am Father George Snyder, St. Mel's Parish, and member of the Culture of Life Inter-Faith Council will provide a Pastoral Message for LIFE.  Other council members are also invited to speak.

10:00 am Praise Reports from 40 Days for Life participants as we thank God for His many blessings!

10:30 am  Moseley Collins, local Personal Injury Attorney, Preacher and Christian Radio Talk Show Host, will speak about abortion, Proverbs 24, his prolife ministry SaveYourBaby.org, and help for post-abortive women seeking legal assistance.

10:45 am Craig DeLuz, local prolife leader, radio host, blogger, and Assembly candidate will speak about abortion and provide a report on Pastor Walter Hoye, whom he visited in the Alameda County jail.

11:00 am Official Group PHOTO will be taken for the National 40 Days report, so everyone needs to be present!!Memorial Quilt for Unborn

Denise Martin of the Rachel's Vineyard Ministry will present the Memorial Quilt, recognizing the children we have lost to abortion.  The very special Quilt will be a part of our Sacramento 40 Days photo!

Silent No More ladies speak11:15 am Women and men of the Silent No More ministry will speak about the painful impact this "choice" has had on their lives.   Priests and Pastors will speak about God's loving mercy, healing, and forgiveness as we sing "Amazing Grace" and "How Great Thou Art" on this Good Friday!

12:00 noon Stations of the Cross, led by Elaine and John Testa of St. Mel's Parish.

1:00 pm We will especially remember Christ's death on The Cross with Hymns, a Reading of the Passion, and Priests and Pastors to lead us in prayer and Scripture Readings. 

3:00 pm "It is Finished" conclusion of our Lenten 2009 40 Days for Life with everyone joining hands to pray the Our Father together, giving Thanks and Praise to God for Gracing us with so many blessings these past 40 Days and announcements regarding  "Where do we go from here?"

I especially thank each of the Team Captains and each of you who have participated in these recent 40 Days for Life, resulting in at least TEN babies saved from abortion locally and over 384 lives saved across the nation.  Praise be to God!
